NES Central

NES was formed on July 1, 1995. The formation was a direct result of the local power company restructuring. We started with a modest staff of 8 and just 1 branch and we have now grown to over 20 staff, 2 branches (Gore and Invercargill) and 2 companies (NES Ltd and NES Central Ltd - Luggate). Over the years we have built up an impressive reputation around Southland, Otago and Central for providing quality workmanship mixed together with a wealth of knowledge about all things electrical. In 2006 we successfully tendered for the contract maintaining the Invercargill City Councils water and drainage pump Infrastructure which expanded our current business to include mechanical fitting services. We began working in Central Otago in 2000 and due to growing business in the area we opened a new Company NES Central in 2007. In 2012 NES branched out into the Gore area. We currently have an electrician and apprentice working in the area. NES continues to grow and expand; we are currently working on subdivisions in Central, Dunedin and Palmerston North. We offer expertise and experience. We proud to have on our team Electricians, Electrical Inspectors, Line Mechanics, and Apprentices. We can provide our clients with full design, build and maintenance services.
