Five Points Bank
William W. Marshall Jr. founded Five Points Bank in Grand Island Nebraska. He had an idea to capitalize on a banking location close to the biggest retailer in Nebraska at the time which was Skagway. During the depression era banking laws prevented banks from branching out more than 500 feet from existing structures. A new bank charter was started in June 1970. In 1971 the bank opened their doors andd had grown $700,000 in total assets. Growing more in the 80s and 90s and in the 2000s there has been a lot of growth. Looking to expand and in Summer of 2018.
