Located in Cristian, Brasov County, AATEQ SRL is integrally owned and managed by 2 Belgian investors, who brought in Romania the Belgian philosophy inspiring all the employees of the company, working all together under the Belgian rules to achieve the goals of the company established by the 2 owners. The company was founded in 2006 by Liban Eeckhout and Paul E. de Breuck, last one being the Director of VHB bvba, from Merelbeke, Belgium, near Ghent. VHB Company began its activity in 1944 and is specialized in production of high precision metal parts and gears. AATEQ Company continues and expands the story of a Belgian SME that made a strategic choice of expanding in Eastern Europe looking for skilled labour force, additional skills as well as to develop new markets. Brasov was chosen due to its long tradition in mechanical manufacturing and heavily industrialized area, and also, because of its high potential in mechanical activities. AATEQ's operating activities are complementary and adds new capacity to the VHB, Belgium activity. The focus is on working with a team of very well trained people, the quality of their execution rising to European quality standards. AATEQ mission consists in creating products with a high level of quality that meets the current needs of customers, and continuous development, making complex parts and devices for future customer satisfaction through a very good quality/price ratio.
