Abeego

Abeego is a company that many people still haven't heard of. Abeego's mission is to save food. Toni Desrosiers created Abeego in her kitchen with the simple purpose to find a solution to preserve food naturally. The cool thing about Abeego is, that it is all natural and allows food to breathe. Did you know, food has to breathe or else it goes bad? Food is living to the point of consumption, yes even after it is picked it naturally gives off ethylene gas as it ripens. If ethylene gas becomes trapped it can cause food to go bad and spoil, leading to food waste. Abeego is breathable food wrap, therefore the ethylene gas can dissipate and produce can live longer. Working for a company that is passionate about saving food is refreshing. I wanted to share my story for World Food Day and hopefully inspire others.
