Amanda Blakley Skincare was developed to provide the simplest and most successful approach to skin care with the best results in terms of minimizing sun damage, wrinkles and skin breakouts. The formulations were developed by dermatologist Dr. Patricia Norris, and are the results of her years of practical experience with thousands of patients. Dr. Norris has a special interest in contact dermatitis (allergy to things that touch the skin) and it has been an important part of her practice to give patients advice about products that are less likely to cause allergic reactions. Over the years she has found that?skin problems such as allergic contact dermatitis, eczema, acne, and rosacea improve by simplifying the skin care routine: fewer steps, fewer products and fewer ingredients. Some of the past products that she has recommended are not always accessible to patients so she and her daughters went to work and formulated the skin care line that is only 4 steps. The AB Skincare team is launching a campaign to start a new approach to skin care which is less is more: once a day washing with a non-irritating pH balanced cleanser, simple light moisturizer to hydrate, zinc/titanium mineral powder for sunburn prevention and a lip protectant.
