A Better Today Recovery Services (ABTRS) was founded in 2009 with a sincere desire to help the largest number of people recover from drug and alcohol addiction, by offering world class treatment at an affordable price. The founding members worked tirelessly putting together a team of dedicated professionals who would create one of the most successful treatment programs in the country comprised of evidence-based practices and experiential therapies. Starting small was both a humbling and exciting challenge that gave our company the opportunity to handpick staff, policies and practices that were most important to our mission and values in the treatment of addictions . Since the very beginning, we have managed to create close connections with clients, families and alums and built an amazing community through the process. In 2014, ABTRS has grown from 10 beds to 72 beds, almost doubling in size every year. While we have grown quickly, we have also managed to maintain our quality of treatment and establish a program that prospective clients and alumni alike have come to trust. There is no one sure-fire treatment method in the recovery industry. People will respond to various treatment methods differently. As such, we are always looking at our program, adding new treatment methods as they become available, and expanding our programming to offer the best experience and service. Part of that experience is rooted in the investment from all of our staff. ABTRS believes that all clinical staff should be full-time employees to maximize staff commitment and promote effectiveness in the treatment process. We also believe that creating a positive peer culture is the best way for clients to heal and learn. When we started, 28 day treatment was the norm and standard of treatment, so we started as a 28 day program. Since then, we have evolved into a 90 day program with different levels of treatment, and have expanded education and family workshops. This growth and change has been based on clinical evidence that allows us to offer the best possible service with the best possible outcomes. This is how we build our relationships and create positive peer culture. Every change we have made and every direction we have moved has been in the interest of providing the best possible care and truly giving people an experience that can change their life.
