Acacia Consulting Services

Acacia Consulting Services was founded in 1989 by Dianne Semmens. Dianne had previously worked for IT companies using Attaché, Maze and Geni software. An opportunity presented for Dianne to start her own company and adopting the motto "if they can do it, then so can I", the decision was made to establish a new company. Dianne needed to register a name for the company, and as a proud Australian living next to 16 acres of acacia trees, the company name was chosen - 'Acacia Consulting Services'. Dianne initially started up the business from home and having the knowledge of systems behind her, knew which products to offer. The business steadily grew, and in 1992, John, Dianne's husband, also commenced working for Acacia as Technical Director. In 1994 Dianne & John opened their first official office in Hawthorn East with a fully equipped training room and Acacia commenced offering training to clients. As the business continued to grow, a decision was made to broaden the variety of Accounting Software packages available. In 2001 MYOB EXO was added to the suite of products offered by Acacia. In 2008, Acacia relocated to an office in Balwyn. Many new clients have joined us from a diverse range of industries and in 2010 and 2011, Acacia was awarded MYOB Enterprise Solutions Platinum Partner, the highest level of partnership attainable. In 2012, Acacia relocated office again, and have settled into a modern building in Surrey Hills, where we continue to provide sales and service to educational and commercial organisations. Acacia have also developed relationships with 3rd party vendors, allowing greater flexibility and functionality to meet your software needs. Our professional approach has won us numerous awards and continues to see the company grow.
