We are a women-owned and operated website design and development studio focused on serving the academic community. Academic Web Pages was founded in 2002 when Nancy McNamara created a website for her sister Jean Rhodes, a professor of psychology at University of Massachusetts Boston. At that time, web design was in its infancy and other professors soon turned to AWP for professionally designed webpages to highlight their activities and share their work. Over fifteen years and 400 websites later, Academic Web Pages is the leading provider of academic websites for research labs, graduate programs, university departments, research centers, faculty profiles, and research coordination networks. Nancy's expertise in software engineering remains central to our work, and our team now includes expert web designers, developers, and project managers.
