Ace Waste Recycling

Ace Recycling operates a facility that processes mixed construction and demolition waste. The plant has a can handle 100's of tons per day, designed to maximize landfill diversion. The materials we recycle from the debris we receive is always expanding though at a minimum includes: aggregates, wood, carpet, wallboard, metals, cardboard, paper, glass, plastics, dirt, and ceiling tile. We also recover reusable materials, much of which is donated to charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. Some of these materials are processed for wholesale, such as wood to chip and aggregate to crushed stone. Other materials are packaged for commodity markets, such as metals, cardboard, and paper. The 70,000 square foot facility is built on a "manufacturing model" whereby all activities are conducted indoors with an emphasis on processes efficiency through automation and product quality. Our space previously was used to process tobacco. When we renovated it for our use, we followed the US Green Building Council's (www.usgbc.org) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. This resulted in, for example, our "harvesting" of rain water for use as dust control in the plant. Why is this important? Clearly this means we are reducing our impact on our surroundings but it is also directly useful for our customers that are increasingly wanting to build or be green. They want to leverage our experiences from having gone through the process. You can learn more about us by clicking the Facility drop down menu above or contact us with your questions or feedback.
