The American Community School of Abu Dhabi

The faculty at ACS supports each student in their quest for academic excellence, artistic and athletic expression and international understanding. Our challenging and diverse programs provide our students with an excellent American education that has a global perspective. We have provided a wonderful educational opportunity to the international community in Abu Dhabi since 1972. ACS is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is also authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the IB Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12. The IB Diploma is a rigorous academic program recognized by most universities around the world. We encourage all students to take full advantage of the programs we offer. We invite parents to talk to our teachers and visit the school, become involved in PTA events and join us in the many celebrations and activities that take place throughout the year.
