Action Forest Management

Formed in 2005, it is owned and managed by Robin Thompson and employs two fulltime supporting operational supervisors. These three collectively have considerable skills and experience in the forestry industry. AFM also employees three part time staff for financial administration, reception duties and technical support. As well as engaging and managing heavy machinery or aerial application sub-contractors for their specialist tasks, AFM operates it's own four contracting crews under the name Action Forest Services Ltd. (AFS) providing many of AFM's operational services. In this way AFM can plan, implement and manage any aspect of a forest operation, from providing quality assured contract services only through to full management of a forest as an investment in wood and carbon.
