Active Research Pty Ltd specialises in the design, construction and management of anaerobic digestion systems for the safe treatment of liquid organic waste. Anaerobic digestion has been applied to a wide range of industrial and community applications as diverse as sewage, winery, pharmaceutical and grease trap treatment. Active Research's approach to anaerobic digestion is to maximise the perfect conditions for bacteria, which, in turn will cause the bacteria to work hard and fast and ensure minimum retention time for the digestion and conversion of the organic material. The system offers a cost effective and efficient way of transforming liquid organic waste to potential class A water and re-usable bio-gas (methane). This recycled water can be used for a wide range of purposes including agricultural/horticultural irrigation, industrial processing, residential garden watering, public recreational spaces and watering of golf courses.
