Ada-Lovelace-Projekt
The Ada-Lovelace-Projekt was founded in 1997 at the University of Koblenz-Landau on the initiative of the Rhineland-Palatine Ministerium für Kultur, Jugend, Familie und Frauen (Ministry for culture, youth, families and women). Under the academic leadership of Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Sander the first students took up their role as mentors. Since 2000 female trainees have also been active as mentors. Since then the project has grown to encompass 7 locations with 11 project leads all throughout Rhineland-Palatine and around 160 active mentors. The academic leadership is currently held by Prof. Dr. Claudia Quaiser-Pohl, head of the Institute of Psychology at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Head of the Central Coordination Office (CCO) is currently Anne Romahn (M.A.). The CCO coordinates general and trans-regional project activities and inquiries.
