Advanced Life Systems, Inc. is a Advanced Life Support primary 911 Emergency Medical Services transport agency in Yakima County. We started our operations in April of 1996, and respond to 911 emergency incidents, as well as transfers between hospitals and other facilities. ALS answers approximately 14,000 calls a year utilizing six advanced life support ambulances staffed around the clock with an EMT and Paramedic. Our transport times range from just a couple of minutes to well over an hour depending on the location of the emergency, in settings ranging from urban and suburban to rural and wilderness. We offer specialized resources including dedicated fire standbys, wildland fire responses, and participate in swift water rescue. Additionally, ALS provides wheel chair transport and Cabulance services, and professional and community training in various settings.
