The site has been manufacturing speciality chemicals for nearly fifty years, initially as Bush Boake Allen, then more recently operating as an independent Company - Aroma & Fine Chemicals, before finally becoming a part of the Octel Corporation in 2004, who have a turnover of $0.5 billion, primarily within the speciality chemicals and additives business. The Aroma & Fine Chemicals site has, throughout its history, specialised in making aroma chemicals for the fragrance industry and that continues to be true to this day. We service an extensive global market and a wide range of industries, through our distribution facilities in eight strategic, geographical locations. Our chemical expertise has always attracted other users of fine chemicals and we continue to supply intermediates and additives into a variety of industries, in particular the Pharmaceutical and Agrochemical sectors. Our strategy is to excel at everything we undertake, to add value to our customer's business as well as our own and to ensure that we remain the supplier of choice to all of our global accounts.
