Agostini Insurance Brokers Limited is the longest standing private sector firm of Insurance Brokers within Trinidad and Tobago, having previously been incorporated in the name Agostini Brothers Insurance Limited on the 29th of December 1950. During our inaugural years of operation we acted as agents for several of London's largest and most respected insurance offices, the principal ones being, the Royal Insurance Company Limited, the Eagle Star Company Limited, the General Accident Fire and Life Assurance Corporation Limited and Lloyds Underwriters. However, with the transformation of the Insurance Industry during the early 1960's we saw the need to shift our paradigms from an underwriting agency to that of an independent Insurance Broking Office, and accordingly the name of our Company was changed to Agostini Insurance Brokers Limited on 1st April 1981. With 115 dedicated staff members, all of whom are residing nationals of Trinidad and Tobago, our mission is to align our resources directly with our client's needs and this is achieved through our expertise, both in the local and international insurance markets. Our commitment is to provide a consistent quality service built around a team of enthusiastic experienced professionals. The rapid expansion of our client base in San Fernando and its environs within a relatively short period of time necessitated the establishment of a self sufficient regional office to more effectively meet the insurance requirements of the southern business community. Accordingly, with the purpose of achieving this objective we commenced operations at No. 16-22 Sutton Street, San Fernando, utilizing a staff of nine full time employees. Since then, we relocated to Neal & Massy building, Corner Scott & Cipero Street, San Fernando and our head count has increased to fifteen and like our Corporate Headquarters in Port-of-Spain, is outfitted with the most current state of the art computer technology available to the Insurance Broking Industry. The geographical infrastructure of our operating network, has since then been further extended beyond the shores of Trinidad and Tobago and in August of 1992 we officially commissioned the offices of Agostini Insurance Brokers (St. Lucia) Limited in Castries, St. Lucia, where to date we are pleased to say we have achieved very satisfactory results. Our determination to broaden our market share, through various stages of research and development revealed a growing need for our services in Tobago and consequently in October 1994 we inaugurated our Branch office in Scarborough and have since relocated to Low Lands with the support of six technically trained staff members. In July 2006 Agostini Insurance Brokers again expanded via a partnership with George F. Huggins and Co. (Grenada) Limited. The AIB Grenada office is located at Scott Street, St. George's Grenada. It is headed by the General Manager, Mr. Mark Henderson and is competently supported by five members of staff.
