Ag Production Enterprises is a traditional family farming business. We operate a row crop and swine production operation based in southeastern Indiana, wholly-owned by the Pumphrey family. As a multi-generational family farm, our hope is for our family to continue to be involved in agriculture for generations to come. This focus on family and continuity shapes our decision making process and leads us to take a long-term approach to business planning. While our size has increased over time, our core business has not changed. We believe in a very traditional agriculture model that has thrived in the Midwest for generations. We grow row crops that feed livestock. We use the nutrients produced by livestock to increase the fertility of the ground we farm. We reinvest the proceeds of operations back into ownership and upkeep of farm ground and swine production facilities. We are involved in many aspects of production agriculture. We operate a full-time feed mill, buy local corn through a seasonal grain merchandising operation, maintain a full maintenance and construction crew, and transport the vast majority of our commodities; all in support of the grain and swine production business.
