In the year 2000, Agrisol implemented an integrated structure, from compound feed production, to poultry and swine raising, slaughtering, transportation, and commercialization of meat, both domestically and for export. The retail network reached 87 units complying European standards. Currently, Agrisol exports meat products to 10 countries: France, Germany, Belgium, UK, Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, Congo and Liberia. Also in 2000, the construction of the first compound feed plant, of the silos and its annexes started in Movila Vulpii, Prahova County. This was the first step towards the integrated production process operating today. In the following years, the company expanded, acquiring Voluntari facility and the silo complex for swine raising and fattening in Cazanesti, Ialomita. In late 2003, Agrisol obtained S.A.P.A.R.D European financing program and started the implementation of the Poultry Slaughter Modernization project, in accordance with EU requirements. In 2005, the company continued its expansion with the acquisition of Lipanesti farm and with the modernization of Cazanesti complex halls. Agrisol took over the seven companies belonging to Toneli agriculture group in 2008 and began the expansion of Boldesti-Scaieni slaughterhouse. The development of the store network was a permanent priority for the group, recording a continuous growth in recent years. In 2010, the network number reached 40 units. The following year, the network expanded to 55 stores, reaching a total of 69 stores in 2012. In 2012, Boldesti-Scaeni slaughterhouse was equipped with machines for weighing, labeling, sorting and packaging, worth 800,000 euros. In the same year, a sludge dewatering plant was acquired, necessary for the wastewater treatment plant that services poultry slaughterhouse. Also in 2012, Agrisol invested 2 million euros in the compound fodder factory in Movila Vulpii, Prahova County. The complex is located in Cazanesti, Ialomita County, and has a capacity of 100,000 fat pigs per year. - Agrisol Swine Raising -
