Ahsante Tours was established in 1998 by Cuthbert and Stella Swai. Prior to forming the company, Cuthbert was an experienced driver and tour guide and Stella was a full-time employee at Tanzania Coffee Board working as a certified accountant in the Senior Accounting Department. ompletely bootstrapped, Ahsante Tours began operation with one 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, a secretary, and a mountain guide. After a successful first full year of operation, Ahsante Tours acquired a second vehicle, 2 full-time driver guides and a full-time mountain guide. Today Ahsante Tours is equipped with newly safari converted 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers, experienced safari and mountain crews and a reputation to rival competitors! We are now one of the leading local tour companies operating on Mt. Kilimanjaro. Ahsante Tours is now engaged in cycling tours, cultural tours and beach holidays in Tanzania. Ahsante Tours is located in Moshi, a small town on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Moshi being the ideal location not only for Kilimanjaro or Meru climbing but for game viewing in the parks in the northern circuit. Our rates are competitive and realistic.
