We believe that refugees and IDPs (internally displaced peop...le) are ordinary people facing extraordinary challenges. Like so many people in adversity they respond with resilience and resourcefulness. All around the world refugees and IDPs have developed remarkable systems of financial assistance and mutual aid. Today, the majority of assistance that refugees and IDPs receive comes not from humanitarian agencies, but from within their local and global community. We are committed to using digital technologies to support these systems by improving access to resources, lowering costs, strengthening communities and empowering individuals.
