Australian Institute of International Understanding

AIIU (Australian Institute of International Understanding) was founded in 1987. AIIU is a not-for-profit (NFP) company which means every cent of the program fees are used for your benefit. For 27 years AIIU has specialized in student exchange programs between Japan and Australia, helping Japanese and Australian students expand their horizons, learn a new language, experience a new culture and make international friends. AIIU offices are scattered around Australia with the head office located in Brisbane. Apart from student exchange programs, AIIU also coordinates study group tours and homestay programs alongside ISA (Australia) Pty Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of AIIU. Study group tours are organised through public, private and specialized language schools across Australia.
