Air Mandalay

Air Mandalay Limited is a private joint venture company that was incorporated on 6 October 1994 to operate as Myanmar's first joint venture airline and support the country's tourism industry. With its base and head office in Yangon, as well as 12 additional offices across Myanmar, Air Mandalay has established itself as a domestic carrier, operating to international standards and serving all of Myanmar's tourist destinations and commercial hubs. The airline also offers air charter services to destinations - both within the country and in the region. In April 2015 Air Mandalay added two ERJ-145 Embraer jets to its fleet. Air Mandalay will introduce the first regional jet service along its entire route structure. Due to the growth of tourism and economic development in Myanmar, air transportation has become an important contributor to the country's economic growth and its infrastructure development. Air Mandalay has positioned itself to manage the increasing number of foreign visitors and therefore play a vital role in the expansion of Myanmar's air transport infrastructure.
