The Al J. Schneider Company is Louisville's largest owner-operator of hotels, whose holdings include the 1,300 room Galt House Hotel and the 600 room Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport. The Galt House Hotel is one of the largest hotels in the Southeast that complements its 1,300 rooms with 124,000 square feet of meeting space and is connected to the new 22,000 seat Yum Center on the downtown riverfront. In addition to the hotels, the company owns and manages three commercial office buildings comprised of nearly 1,500,000 square feet, including Kentucky's largest office building, the 983,000 square foot Waterfront Plaza.
