Started in 1967, Alard Machine Products was founded by Raymond Nelson and Donald Gerber. After Raymond's retirement in 1979, Donald continued, eventually partnering with Gregg Thompson in 1984. Three years later, Gregg acquired full ownership and set Alard Machine Products on it's path of becoming a World Class Manufacturing Facility. With just 1 employee, 7 machines, and a Mission Statement in 1987, Gregg Thompson has led AMP through phenominal growth, enjoying an average of 18% sales growth per annum. Over the years, the focus has been on Quality... Quality Staff following Quality Processes to produce Quality Product on Quality Machines. This emphasis on Quality creates a focus to acquire the specialized personnel, late-technology machines, practices and procedures to rise above the industry standard. Today, AMP employs nearly 130 such specialized employees, and has over 200 machines in it's 57,000 square foot facility. AMP enjoys the distinction of being ISO 9001:2008 and AS 9100:2009, Rev. C Registered, along with various other notable certifications. Combined with the commitment to 100% on-time delivery, a zero-defect approach, and 98.7% customer satisfaction, AMP is fast becoming recognized as an industry leader.
