Alexandrion Group is the largest spirits and wines producer and distributor in Romania, a combination of history, tradition, experience and passion dating back to 1789. Together, the Alexandrion Dis...tillery, SABER 1789 Distilleries and THE ICONIC ESTATE Cellar embody a history of over 200 years in the local spirits and wine industry, creating strong, intense brands, acknowledged at both national and international level. The Alexandrion brands distinguish themselves through authentic recipes, best quality ingredients, well defined, memorable taste and flavours. Alexandrion Group owns one of the largest and most modern production facilities in South- Eastern Europe – The Alexandrion Distillery. Located in Bucov, Prahova county, the Alexandrion Distillery covers 20,000 sqm, has a bottling capacity of 42 million liters per year and is ISO and IFS certified, using state-of-the-art technology and processes that ensure the highest quality standards for our products. Starting from 2018, the Group expanded its activities further with the acquisition of a winery and vineyards in Romania, thus complementing its portfolio with a wide range of award-winning still and sparkling wines, under the corporate identity THE ICONIC ESTATE. Our winery owns more than 250 ha of vineyards in the most fertile wine regions in Romania, most of them in Dealu Mare, as well as production and storage installations, three bottling lines, storage with controlled temperature and underground cellars. The winery from Tohani, produces annually 3.6 million liters of wine, representing around 5 millions of bottles. Rhein & CIE Azuga Cellars, are the oldest location where the sparkling wine has been produced according to a traditional method from France, from the set up until now. THE ICONIC ESTATE is the official supplier of still and sparkling wines of the Royal House of Romania.
