Since 2014 ALG Biogas has been providing a sustainable waste reduction solution to farms, business and the local community, throughout Ireland. ALG Biogas Ltd accept a wide range of food waste from providers including, food processing factories, out of date stock from supermarkets, domestic food waste, catering waste from hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals to our anaerobic digestion process to produce biogas and biofertiliser. The biogas is combusted in a combined heat and power plant to produce renewable electricity and heat. The electricity is exported to the national grid to power homes and businesses.
