Amistad Community Health Center
Amistad Community Health Center was founded in 2005 as a non-profit, faith-based organization aimed to address the growing number of community members lacking health insurance, a primary care provider, and a place to receive affordable, quality medical attention. Our center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which is a Federal designation assigned to non-profit or public health care organizations that serve predominantly uninsured or underserved populations and are located in or serving a designated Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P). We are an FTCA deemed facility. As an FQHC, Amistad is expected to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services for the patients we serve. We also provide services to all persons regardless of their ability to pay by charging for services on a sliding fee scale based on a patient's family size and income. Amistad provides services to people in every stage of the life cycle.
