AMMC Bahamas

The AMMC seeks to foster and promote public stewardship and participation in the care and management of national, historical and cultural resources for the education, and enjoyment of residents and visitors of The Bahamas. The National Museum of The Bahamas/Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Corporation is governed by the 1998 Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Act and its 1999 Regulations. It is a quasi-governmental, non-profit agency with a 12 member Board of Directors including an appointed Chairman. The Director manages the administration of the organization.
