Antibiotice is a public pharmaceutical company which is the third largest drug producing company in Romania and a large nystatin producer. It is 53.02%-owned by the Romanian Ministry of Health. The company's portfolio consists of 148 products in 12 different therapeutical classes. Antibiotice is a major manufacturer of anti-inflammatory, dermatological, digestive tract, oncological, cardiovascular, and central nervous system medicines. The company has eight manufacturing lines: sterile powders for injection, penicillin capsules, non-penicillin capsules, cephalosporins capsules, tablets, and ointments. Antibiotice is headquartered in Iasi, Romania.
