ABFA Women's League

ABFA Women's League

The ABFA was founded in 1928. It become affiliated to FIFA and CONCACAF in 1970. It has 50 members (49 clubs and the Antigua and Barbuda Referee Association). The clubs are divided into three divisions for league play. The Premier Division comprises 10 clubs, the First Division comprises of 12 clubs and the second Division comprises 25 clubs. There are 8 female teams which contest the women's division. The official season operates from September until February. The association operates two main men competitions, the League Cup and the FA Cup. It also conducts a U-18 ,U-15 and U-13 youth league.
