Asia Pacific Microsystems, Inc. (APM) has been dedicated in the MEMS manufacturing since founded in 2001. It is one of the leading pure-play foundry service providers in the world. APM owns an automated 6-inch production plant comprised of a complete MEMS fabrication capabilities. Converted from a CMOS foundry, APM's plant preserves the semiconductor production system and discipline, and equips the state-of-the-art MEMS facility. APM was established as an IDM company, and had accumulated broad experiences through years of development of various MEMS devices. In 2007, APM spun off its MEMS products, and turned into a pure-play MEMS foundry. With the product experiences and a focus on process fabrication, APM becomes a matched partner to component companies in MEMS industry. APM is located in Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan, the centre for global semiconductor manufacturing. There are always more than 30 devices running concurrently in the production mode, and APM's wafer output has been over 10,000 wafers per month.
