Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development
APSSDC is a non-profit organization formed as a PPP (Public Private Partnership) corporation to promote Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in Andhra Pradesh, India. The main purpose of the APSSDC (Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation) Siemens Mission is to train a large number of unemployed youth for employment and to create a technically skilled workforce related to Andhra Pradesh. The more expensive state of the art workshops have been reserved at the Hub i.e. Center of Excellence (COE), which will also serve as a center for higher education and research, while the usually required trade lab has been spread to the spokesperson. Each cluster will have an annual volume to train 20,000. Therefore, the total amount of the scheme from all the centers is 1,20,000 per year. It is a collaborative plan with Siemens with a 10% stake by the government and 90% by Siemens.
