ARC, Stockton Arts Centre

ARC is committed to developing dance across the Tees Valley and has been operating as the Tees Valley Dance Hub since September 2011, working with Dance City and other regional hubs across the North East to support the delivery of dance for people at all levels; with particular focus on developing dance for young people. As a Dance Hub ARC aims to create opportunities for all people to access high quality dance and develop a strong physical network of practitioners and activity that contributes to the North East dance ecology. ARC recognises the importance of developing opportunities for artists, practitioners and dancers to connect at a local and regional level and works with partner organisations including Darlington Borough Council, Middlesbrough Council, Dance City to support the development of dance in the North East.
