We publish classical music, books related to various aspects of music study, and an online music anthology. We are also the exclusive distributor for the American Institute of Musicology. The core of our catalog is the Recent Researches in Music series--critical editions of music from the Middle Ages through the mid-twentieth century. Based on archival research of leading music scholars from around the world, these editions are prepared with meticulous editorial attention and the finest quality typesetting and music engraving. In most cases, the music in our editions is not availalbe from any other publisher. Historical accuracy is only the first step, though. We offer performance parts for chamber music, and rental parts are available for works requiring larger ensembles. Music for solo instruments and choral works are now available as digital prints exclusively through our online store. Choral pieces can also be purchased in quantity as paper offprints.
