In 2007, a Wellness Center and a Rainforest Eco Resort was added to the group. Continuing its trajectory of rapid expansion in the state of Sabah, the group added another two budget hotels totaling 73 rooms in Kota Kinabalu City. Aspiring to be a Premier Integrated Travel & Accommodation Provider group of companies, the management decided on the Strategy of concentrating in the BUDGET category of the hospitality industry only. This strategy allows the group to tap into a much bigger market by catering to not only the international travelers' market but also the domestic travelers' market. The domestic market for our core businesses is many times bigger than the international market and is relatively insulated from international factors such as SARS, 9/11, etc. The business model for the Aristo Asia Group comprises three Core Businesses, namely: a. Hotels & Resorts . This division of the group engages in the ownership & operation of hotels and resorts within the budget travel's category. Apart from direct ownership of the properties under operational management, Aristo Asia also provides Hotel & Resort Management Services to owners who prefer to engage an operator to run their business for them. b . Wellness Centers . This division is engage in the Health & Wellness part of the hospitality industry. Apart for catering to in-house guests, the wellness centers also cater to walk in customers. The expansion of this division normally ties in with the expansion of the hotels & resorts. For each new hotel or resort added to the group, a wellness center (spa / reflexology) will also be included. c .Travel Itinerary Management . This division arises as a natural extension of the above businesses. Guests staying with our hotels & resorts request our staff to help them in proposing and arranging their travel itinerary.
