AUTOMATION SERVICE SRL was founded in 1999 by Mr. Elio Pintaldi, and a group of young employees that have always believed in this industrial project. Automation Service works in the fields of control and supervision systems and counts, among its customers, several Oil & Gas and Power Generation multinational companies, realizing both turnkey projects and engineering systems aimed to control, regulation and supervision, using solutions of the most leading manufacturers of the world. It's also notable the use of resources used both for the service management of plants developed and commissioned by Automation Service, and those already realized by other suppliers. Automation Service is always looking for new technological frontiers in order to meet the new challenges of the globalized market also thanks to the considerable support of ideas often coming from the real needs of customers. This is the reason why, in recent years, it has been successfully created a business unit related to the development of the integrated automation of large cruise, civilian and military ships. During the last year it has been founded the new research and development division. This represent the only way to compete with the newest market challenges. The creation of the new divisions has led the company to increase its staff (one employee in 1984, 72 employees in 2015, including 50 electronic and computer engineers). Automation Service works a lot outside the Sicily with engineering activities worldwide. The staff of Automation Service s.r.l. is organized in specific divisions which mainly differs each others by system application typology.
