Aspen Log Homes

Aspen Log Homes was founded in 1990 by Wayne Nelson who was at the time stock broker for E F Hutton. Wayne had hired a company to build him and his wife a log home. The company Wayne had hired took out bankruptcy before completing the home leaving us with some heavy losses. Being in the investment business Wayne had built spec homes and was advised by his son Scott to go and finish the home himself. While finishing the home Wayne was asked by others to build them a log home, and Aspen Log Homes was born. Because of what happened to Wayne, he made a decision to never touch the customers money. All construction draws are paid by the lending company, never from an Aspen Log Home account. All sub-contractors are paid by the lending company, so you will never get a lien from a sub for non-payment. Aspen only draws on completed work either inspected by the lender or the owner.
