When entering Atelier's provocative space, the senses are immediately enkindled. No detail is overlooked, and thus the selection of accessories to elaborate ensembles captivates the soul. The carefully curated collection of women's and menswear pieces, celebrates an array of designers, and promises the upmost perfection in design, construction and quality. The interior design draws inspiration from Wiener Werkstatt although the finished look is quite different. We wanted to have an intimate space where likeminded people could meet, have a chat, share ideas and shop. The space was designed by art dealer Constantin Von Haeften along with MR Architecture. Atelier New York was founded in September 2002 in our original location on Crosby Street. Formerly a co-ed clothing store called A, the boutique was renamed Atelier New York in 2004 and was reconceived to focus on exclusive high end men's clothes, shoes and accessories. Embraced by the international fashion community, creative professional and celebrities we have now rededicated our vision to include women's wear along with a more diverse selection of brands. Celebrating our 15th year, we will be taking a more active role in social media and e-commerce. Atelier New York
