He brings over 14 years of experience that covers all facets of the audio production process. He has mixed countless programs broadcast both nationally and internationally on the Al Jazeera America / Current TV network as well as collaborated with such firms as Ogilvy PR, Mering Carson, Venables Bell & Partners, Evolution Bureau, Engine Company #1, Hubstrategy, and Pond! Chris started his career as the Chief Engineer and Audio Coordinator at a three-room recording complex housed in the University of Michigan's Duderstadt Center working mainly in jazz, classical, and avant-garde acoustic music. Following his relocation to the Bay area, he started engineering at San Francisco's Coast Recorders, ultimately becoming the studio manager for the classic Putnam designed studio. After Coast he got his first taste of the audio-post world while working at Euphonix (now part of AVID) testing and qualifying the software and hardware for the System5 large format digital mixing console. Chris laid the groundwork for his career as an audio engineer while studying for his BFA in Performing Arts & Technology from the University of Michigan School of Music. In 2007 he went back to school, subsequently receiving an MFA in Electronic Music and Recorded Media from Mills College in Oakland, CA. While at Mills he had a chance to live in Paris, create some really strange music, and build a number of large scale interactive installations. He spends his free time in Marin county riding his bike and searching for that elusive thing called "fitness." Services we offer:
