Aurora Geosciences

Aurora has provided geological and exploration support to the surface and underground exploration departments at the Greens Creek mine since 2008. Aurora has provided the surface exploration department at Hecla's Greens Creek Mine with drill pad construction and dismantling services as well as technical personnel on a seasonal, on-demand basis. We have also provided Hecla with contract core logging and technical support services for the surface and underground exploration departments. The Greens Creek ore body is hosted in a very structurally-complex assemblage of metamorphosed sedimentary rocks. Aurora's team of geologists has and continues to provide Hecla with superior scientific and technical analysis of their drill core through a flexible, efficient and cost-effective arrangement.
