Automatic Plastics specialises in Injection Moulding and related services. The business was founded in 1972 by Alfred Lawless Snr (since retired). Alfred Lawless (Jnr) now continues to drive the company forward, working with a small, focused management team. The factory is based in Wicklow, near 3 major ports and only 2 hours from Dublin International Airport. The factory operates in a 33,000 sq ft facility. The company has 68 staff and a variety of state-of-the-art machinery. While Injection Moulding is the core service offered, APL also offers customers extensive Project Management expertise & Tooling services. Tool management includes the design, sourcing, storing and maintenance of tools. In terms of delivery for clients, APL has the capacity to operate 24/7, in a 3 shift format.
