American Veterinary Medical Association
The American Veterinary Medical Association is the nations leading advocate for the veterinary profession. Representing more than 97,000 veterinarians, the Association protects, promotes and advances the needs of all veterinarians and those they serve. A venerable publisher, AVMA founded the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association in 1915, and was joined by theAmerican Journal of Veterinary Researchin 1940, becoming the primary forum for veterinarians to publish basic and clinical research studies.
