Avondale Meadows Academy an "A" Rated Public Charter School located in one of Indianapolis' most under served communities. Avondale Meadows Academy (AMA) is a tuition-free, K-5 public charter school founded on the Core Knowledge curriculum. Established in 2006, AMA is open to all students. We are diverse collection of families, educators and volunteers, who commit each year to equipping our 470+ students with the strongest possible preparation for success in Indianapolis' most demanding, college-preparatory middle and high school. The instructional model of Avondale Meadows is grounded in our belief that every child has the ability to succeed at high levels. We will accomplish this by developing a school that embraces research-based instructional models, collaborative and aligned curriculum design, strong character education and high academic standards. These components coupled with a highly trained staff and distributive leadership will prepare scholars to succeed on their path to college and create the vision for their future.
