Business Awards of Macau

Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. ("SJM"), which boasts the longest history among the six gaming operators in Macau, is dedicated to promoting charitable activities that improve the welfare of Macau's people. "From society to society" is a core value of the SJM Group, which believes in making every effort to improve the quality of life in Macau, especially for those who have not benefitted from the region's rapid economic transformation. In 2014, SJM has continued to support education, arts and culture, sports and other activities to benefit the residents of Macau, and the Company encourages its employees to do likewise. SJM's staff members are frequent volunteers to help the needy in society. SJM promotes Responsible Gambling, and provides training for career improvement for its staff, through which they learn to acquire new working and communication skills. The Company awards scholarships annually, to children of its staff as well as to other university students, and supports or sponsors educational programmes and activities. SJM is a regular sponsor and long-term supporter (either as organizer, co-organizer or sponsor) of sports development and cultural activities. Over the years, SJM has organized many charity and community activities, and raised funds for the well-being of the community while enhancing the international image of Macau.
