Established in 1999 Advanced Web Designs Ltd is a website design agency based in Hertford, Hertfordshire. As an established and reputable company we have experienced a sustained period of growth year on year, and as part of our continued development process we are looking for a conscientious and driven individual to fill a new website developer role in our team. The preferred candidate will have at least 2 years experience developing websites including e-commerce and Content Management systems, and will be able to provide example of such websites. Key Skills - It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate a high degree of proficiency with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML and CSS, together with software's; Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop/Fireworks. Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation and legislation such as the Disability Discrimination Act and its effect on website design must also be demonstrated. As all websites are designed and developed in-house, the ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate a good level of design ability. Good communication is a key skill requirement as the successful candidate will be required to deal directly with new and existing clients from a wide range of market sectors. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work within a small team and want to grow with the business. As a small team, attitude and approach is very important to us, and we therefore require a degree of flexibility during busy business peaks from the successful candidate.
