Baabuk

BAABUK is a Swiss startup created by a young and dynamique couple with a passion for wool. We have had that dream for nearly 3 years now to show our 100% natural wool shoes to the world. The first chapter of our story begins when we receive a present - Russian "valenki" boots. In the 16th century those boots were essential to fight the Siberian cold. As a result those traditional boots became BAABUK's inspiration for our first collection. Few years later, while we were travelling abroad, we decided to embark in the BAABUK adventure by creating felted wool slippers and boots produced in Nepal. In order to show our project to the world we launched a first Kickstarter campaign. It was a real hit and people loved their warm and comfortable 100% natural shoes. Today, BAABUK is more that just a brand. It is a family.
