Brick & Mortar Music

Brick & Mortar Music

Jeremy began working in the music industry in 1997 and Allison in 2001, at a time when school music programs were flourishing and new technologies and products were being introduced. Unfortunately, due to the economic recession in 2007, funding for school music and extracurricular programs were cut across the nation. he music industry as a whole needed to find a way to reinvent itself. As a result, and out of personal relationships with music teachers and local musicians and a desire to bring their love of music to life in their local community, Jeremy and Allison found themselves building a company adept at sharing their own passion for music and providing the access so many communities weren't able to provide. During the fall of 2014 they launched their business to offer a place where beginners, hobbyists, and professionals alike could enjoy musical products; a physical location to hear, feel, and browse, unlike the internet or stale big-box stores. Brick & Mortar Music emerged as just that place. Brick & Mortar Music is a place where beginners grow into successful musicians, where professionals find knowledgeable partners, and where people at all levels can enjoy music and music making. Our online store is designed to give people access to the products they need most often. In store, you'll find a variety of products including digital pianos, band and orchestra instruments, guitars, ukuleles, drums and auxiliary percussion, mixers, powered speakers, microphones, sheet music, stands, and cases. We have a diverse network of vendors with whom we are able to receive the latest product information and leverage the best pricing to pass on to our customers. Our relationships with these companies not only gives us a broad knowledge base, but also access to a wide variety of products. If you don't see a specific product in store, we are happy to special order. We visit 40 school districts and over 100 teachers within a 90 mile radius twice a month from September to December and once a month until June. It is important to us that students and music programs have tools and resources available to be successful. Affordable instrument rentals, service, and school delivery are all ways in which we strive to achieve this goal. We are proud to be located in a community that shares our love of music and the arts. Thank you for your support. 15 Market Street Potsdam, NY 13676
