Bank of Prague

The Bank of Prague is located at 316 West Center Avenue in Prague Nebraska. The bank was organized on June 18, 1906. In 1930 the Bank of Prague purchased the Farmers and Merchants Bank and a new building was constructed on the corner of Main Street. In 1964 E.J. Carlson purchased that bank from Louis Prochaska and on Sept 15, 1975, the present bank was moved into and a new addition was added in 1983 with some remodeling that took place in 1995. Change is inevitable in any business and most notably in the financial industry, but at the Bank of Prague we still believe that it is you, the customer, who is important to us. We offer many services to our customers and businesses that we hope will be beneficial. As a newer service to our customers with Internet Banking, we hope that you will find the convenience and availability an asset to banking with us. Hometown Banking With Your Neighbors and Friends is our focus to provide personal, professional, and premier service to our customers. Our main goal is to provide our customers and community to achieve their financial goals. From home ownership, to private banking, and to wealth management, the Bank of Prague will be a place our customers will want to bank and invest. The Bank also offers the convenience of visiting with our insurance agent for crop, health, auto and all your insurance needs. The Prague Insurance Agency building is located just a few steps down from the Bank of Prague at 104 N Railway Street. We are proud of the accomplishments of our employees, and we are especially pleased to be able to serve the businesses and community. We thank you for your interest in the Bank of Prague.
