Brunswick Area Recreation Council (BARC) was established in March 1993 and is part of the Frederick County, Maryland, Park and Recreation Council. Our principle area of operation includes, but is not limited to, the southwest section of Frederick County Maryland and to the Brunswick and Valley Elementary School Districts of Frederick County, Maryland. The Mission of the Brunswick Area Recreation Council (BARC) is to develop recreation program opportunities for the people of the community. Brunswick Area Recreation Council (BARC) is part of Frederick County, Maryland's Park and Recreation Council. BARC represents the Southwest part of Frederick County, Maryland and meets the first Monday of the month at Brunswick High School Library at 7:00 PM.
