Bahrain Airport Services

BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre operates the most specialized aviation training centre in the region. It is an EASA-approved Part-147 training organization, internationally accredited in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. BAETC was established in 2004 and is fully owned and operated under the auspices of Bahrain Airport Services (BAS). The Centre is justifiably proud of this heritage, and upholds the BAS tradition and successful history of providing services to the world's airlines. Our aim is to provide the best learning experience to students through a stimulating and well-balanced training program. The training program combines the practical and theoretical aspects of the principles of aircraft maintenance engineering. It is designed to offer more personalized training and instruction by maintaining a maximum of 25 students per class. Our aviation training workshop ensures that it meets the highest standard of excellence by using sophisticated training facilities and equipment under the guidance of highly qualified instructors. Students learn their craft at BAS Engineering Complex located at Bahrain International Airport. Following successful completion of both the theoretical training and a period of work experience, students are eligible to apply to EASA for a Part-66 B1 or B2 License. Furthermore, when the basic theoretical part of the training is concluded, students can earn the UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Level 5, accredited by EDEXCEL.
